Many business owners tend to neglect one of the best ways to promote free online with article marketing. Writing articles is one of the most overlooked but highly effective ways to promote anything online. If you shrug and think you’re not a writer so you can not promote that way, do not worry. No need to be a writer. All you need is a subject and a little time, anyone can write anything. Besides, there are so many sites across the internet, finding inspiration and examples, it is not difficult.

First, think of topics that relate to your company. What services do you offer or what products you sell? If you sell items for pets, an article on any aspect of pet ownership is a possibility. If you sell voice recognition software, an article on how the disability affects the use of computers or how to dictate a book while doing other things with my hands, will be an excellent topic choice. Anything about your main line of business is a great choice.
400-450 words is how long your article should be. depending on the minimum number of words required by certain websites such as EzineArticles.com. You should always be aiming for this word range. Once you write a few articles, it becomes easier. Just try focusing on providing relevant information, speaking from your companies expertise.
The next step in article marketing is to choose a few keyword phrases and write articles based on them. Use the phrase in the title, if possible, and 4 or 5 times in the article. This makes it more likely that when someone searches on that phrase in Google or Bing, your article appears as high as possible in the search results. The main purpose of article writing is so that when people come across your article on various websites like Squidoo.com or Hubpages.com they will see your link to your website and click on it. It is always important to link back to your main website as well as digg or stumbleupon any articles you write in order to create a more viral affect. Article marketing also builds backlinks to your main website and helps to increase pagerank and site authority.

Do a google search for article directories you can post to. You will find a lot of sites you can post articles to. Some sites like Squidoo and Hubpages even let you add your Google Adsense accounts to their sites to partner in their revenue sharing programs.
If you’re really afraid to write articles, you can always hire someone to do it for you are reasonable. But it might be something you enjoy doing. Articles full of good content can be a fun way to expand your Internet marketing promotion activities. You can never go wrong with article marketing!
