This video discribes the importance of social media in education in the coming years. Everyday more and more people are logging into facebook, wikipedia and other social media sites. As technology continues to change the way we interact with each other and with computers, the way in which we teach and are educated will also change. I find the use of social media to foster learning to be very important. Using multimedia is crucial to engage the minds of young students. I feel as time moves on education will become more interesting and learning objectives will be realized with ease and entertainment instead of sometimes boring traditional learning methods.

Election season is in full effect! Our President isn’t wasting anytime letting you all know about his accomplishments in his first term of office.
Don’t listen to these crazy Republicans, they’ll have you thinking that President Obama hasn’t accomplished anything while in office these past 4 years. Thank goodness President Obama is intelligent and ready to shut them down. He has just released a 17 minute documentary showing his many accomplishments.
In the documentary, former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel talks about the President’s stance on health care reform. Also, our hilarious Vice President Joe Biden talks about the killing of Osama bin Laden and Elizabeth Warren discusses the auto bailout. It’s definitely a must see!

Whenever Teyana Taylor‘s name is mentioned, the common question after is, “What Does She Do”? To me, she’s famous because of her episode of ‘My Super Sweet 16′, but apparently she was signed to Pharell‘s ‘Star Track’ record label as a singer. Who knew?
Many still didn’t believe Teyana was a real singer, but she was featured on Kanye West‘s song ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ from his album of the same name. Although that was a big deal, many didn’t think Teyana would ever release her own music, but I guess she’s proving everyone wrong now.

Jeremih Gets Hit With Drinks For Lip-Syncing [Video]
‘Birthday Sex’ singer Jeremih was performing at a club in South Padre, Texas (the spring break capital of the state) when he was doused with drinks from the crowd. Reportedly, when Jeremih took the stage, he began performing his song ‘Down On Me’ and the crowd began to boo. Next, someone tossed a bottle, but the singer didn’t get fed up until someone threw a full drink at him on stage. That’s when he walked off stage and the concert was over. The tickets were not refunded by the club.
Wow. All of that for lip-syncing. I know they get crazy in Padre for spring break (I’ve witnessed the craziness first hand), but that is ridiculous. It’s not that serious damnit. Y’all don’t see Britney Spears‘ fans throwing drinks at her and she’s the QUEEN of lip syncing.

So Rih Rih decided to call up Ryan Seacrest and talk about collaborating with Chris, starting a fashion line, her role in the new Battleship movie, what’s in the works for her now and more. On Collaborating With Chris Brown:
Rihanna recalls beginning the collaboration process saying: “The first song that came about was ‘Birthday Cake.’ I mean we ended up recording them at the same time and executing them together, but I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really–it made sense to do the record. Just as a musician despite everything else that was going to be the person. You know I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track, and then in turn he was like ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and it was a trade off. We did two records. One for my fans. One for his fans, and that way our fans can come together. There shouldn’t be a divide. You know? It’s music, and it’s innocent.”Where Is Your Music Going Next?
“I can’t say that! ‘Sonically’ — I can’t explain it. But I’m excited about it. I have the sound already. So it’s just a matter of execution!”Focusing In On Right Now?

You can only imagine how nervous I was going in to such a big budgeted film really as an amateur. Clean. Really not knowing anything, but it was immense. “Yes, I am….I really want to go black, and I was kind of in a natural color so it was easier to go blonde first, because black is such a harsh color to come back from. So I wanted to try it out to see if I liked it, and now I really am a little attached to it. I keep going lighter and lighter. Rihanna recently finished filming a commercial for beverage Vita Coco. But was there action similar to ‘Battleship?’ Rihanna laughs saying: “No, not at all! Vita Coco? Absolutely 180 [degrees]!
